I have a leather fetish.
I'm also looking forward to testing the new Brooks as it may really help with some issues I have been having with regular saddles... a nerve impingement in my hip has been causing a lot of pain and it is exacerbated when there is any pressure on my perineal area.
I have a good collection of leather saddles that date back to the late 30's and without a doubt, these are the most comfortable saddles I own... only one of them is a Brooks (a B66).
I like the idea of owning a perfectly comfortable saddle that, if properly maintained, will last 100,000 miles and even know a fair number of vegans who ride on used leather saddles since they are simply the best. and
A saddle that might last the average person a lifetime is far better than a synthetic saddle with a limited lifespan while for me, 100,000 miles is about ten years of riding and above all else, I like to be comfortable.
