I know paths can be a nightmare. Agreed and point taken. But, I live in a place where pretty much everywhere sucks to ride.

After the first few "you're an idiot posts" it is nice to see there are some other out there with the same problem. Thank you. I honestly would just like to find a place for a decent, short ride where I don't have to fight with strollers, cars, moms, etc. And it just frustrates me that maybe that only place is in my basement on my rollers. The reason why I use the path is that it is a 4 mile loop, flat, no cars...but lots of other issues.

The roads are full of gravel, potholes, glass, dirt, salt. The path is the only place to ride that is flat and without insane drivers.

The back roads all require pretty serious climbing, which I don't want to do for a 45 minute ride. Side roads don't really happen because it is developments cut off from one another, meaning I'd have to go on major roads.

Anyway, let me know where you guys live so I can come ride there.
