Yeah, but I'm referring to mounting a fixed bike, not SS, so it's more relevent here because you have the swinging pedals and mounting into the pedals smoothly to deal with too. Fixed cyclocross is a freakis minority of a minority and I wouldn't expect many of those guys to take the question seriously.
It's the same on a FG as it is an a SS. Getting off is where they differ. A lot of ss crossers have been doing the FG thing for years.
