Yes, I have a King. Several, actually. No, it's not for bling sakes. I have a bike that's had one for 20 years. For me, it's the philosophy of the company. The world would be a better place if more companies had the corporate ethics King does. They reuse and recycle more than any company I know. Last I heard they had 8 recycling containers and one for trash. They support the local economy. They pay a living wage. In short, they are one of the most conscientious companies of any industry I know of.

You haven't been to many manufacturing companies then. There is no money in throwing things away. I personally recycle 100-300X the weight of what we actually throw away every week. I've got close to 50 recycling containers on site. Every manufacturer that still operates int he US supports their local economy through hiring, sourcing, taxes, and fund raising.
I try not to outwardly disagree with you when it comes to bike shop issues because you run one. I help run a large manufacturing organization. I will step in when you begin speaking about manufacturing.
