For a low but unique pass, check out Passo San Boldo.

If you head into Slovenia, Vrsic is highly recommended. It is very close to Italy and the scenery is very similar to the Dolomites.

Monte Zoncolan is one of the steepest passes ever done in the Giro so if you're looking for a knee breaker to rival the Mortirolo, this is it. (Haven't done it though.)
