true story: i used to live in a fairly bad part of dc back in '94 (U street, near howard uni). i was out walking home from the store one night when a guy approached me, carrying something that looked like a gun, got up in my face and demanded my money. i politely told him no, took about a half step back, turned and ran my ass off. whether the guy had a real gun or a bb gun or a plastic model, i have no idea, but if you pull a gun on somebody, you better be prepared to use it. and for the record, i've never grabbed a gun from anyone, but i do know someone who has.
