if you ever see some guy riding a blue trek with blue nikes, a blue jersey, and a blue backpack on campus, give me a hollar haha (usually decked out all in blue except when i decide to wear a usps jersey)
I'm not sure of other bike shops, but Trek San Diego (kearny mesa) has an excellent fit program for the life of the bike if you purchase it there, so even if you end up paying a bit more, you recieve excellent service, a very good fitting program, and free maintenance for the life of the bike. they're having a bike fit seminar in the store in a week or so too.
pricing sounds about right. 15% or so off msrp...i'd say you'll probably find it around the $2550-$2750 range in SD...
