These types of gloves are available from Spenco in the Ironman series (I believe Bev can testify for them), Pearl Izumi in some of their Tour models and seem to be common in this years (or last, hard to tell in the LBS) Specialized models. They are characterized by having 2 pads at the heal of the hand with a space between. They are disigned to protect the medial nerve in that space between the two pads. In my opinion, the idea works well. This may not be the total answer however as this years bike is also 3 cm shorter and the bars have been raised a bit to take some weight off the hands.
