I bike every night on my way home from work. The distance is short but i because i bike where there are street lights i dont use traditional lighting systems. I use a front and back one led safety light. These things are rate for 100 hours per battery i think. They last a long, long time. Technically they aren't even legal because the law requires a white light in front and my front is yellow-- back is red. But no cop has ever stopped me.
