The premise is bogus. I highly doubt his cycling caused his hip arthritis. Maybe that's his line, but I suspect it just isn't true. He probably got the hip arthritis in SPITE OF his cycling, not because of it. And that's my medical opinion, nurse.... it is impossible to "prove" it one way or the other.
