I remember being passed by a group of OCW's mid-week ride - thought they were a bunch of jerks.
I was doing some intervals and was taking it easy when I heard them coming. I moved to the right (bike lane on city street) and the lead guy yelled 'on your right'. Well, I was pretty much next to the gutter and wasn't going to ride in it. He yelled it again, but this time followed it up with 'get out of the way, behind you'.
Finally when passing, a coupe of people said 'F'n move' and 'coming through'. Whatever, there was maybe only 1 or 2 cars on the road and I was already over, long before they come up on me. Bunch of arrogant *******s, just like I had been warned. I decided to pace them, they weren't even riding that fast.
Shouldn't they have said "on your left," since you were already over as far as you could go (next to the gutter)?
