You'll probably get more help from the Classic & Vintage forum on here. Most people on Roadbikes don't ride $200 bikes and don't know how to help you with them. The C&V people are very friendly to people who are using vintage steelies. I also have such a bike, but know nothing about the two you have posted. Good luck.
