Hmmm. My take on this is that when I read the series of posts, I was under the impression that you had contacted Noah Scape, and had gotten the cable from him. Robbie also made an offer, but was under the impression that you would get the cable first from NS.

My take is that if one member offers something up publicly, and another member sends a PM, then the member sending the PM has first dibs. So, Noah Scape offered you cables, you sent PM, you would be first in line for the cables offered by NS.

In this case, though, Robbie thought that you had gotten the cable already, and someone else contacted him about the cable as well.

I don't think there's been any breach of etiquette here, just a simple misunderstanding. Disappointing, yes, but a misunderstanding nonetheless.
