A little sticky, but my take on it is this. Robbie offered to Afilado and if I were Robbie I would wait to hear if Afilado said yeah or nay on it before anyone else has a chance at it. I wait for a confirmed yes or no from the person I offered it to first. That is how I see it.

Please allow me to rant. This is similar to how I deal on CL but it seems many others are content to set a meeting time with you for you to come see something in which case you have secured your option to buy. But then someone else emails and wants to come sooner so the seller lets them and sells it to that person and you show up cash in hand and ring the buzzer and the stupid A-hole in their apt.. says "sorry I sold it". You know what go to F^*&ing hell!

Caveat: Afilado should determine who has the length he need and take that and allow however the other inquiring member is to take the other set of housing. I think that is in the sharing spirit of C&V.
