I agree with you when talking about relatively new parts. But with aged parts I think its a bit more apparent. Springs wear out, etc. Maybe I should have said "durability" rather than "reliability".
I'm not sure about that either.
Sora will use heavier parts, and probably a lot of steel in its build. So it'll likely be more durable than lighter parts that use Al instead.
It's heavier and isn't as 'smooth' in shifting but will get the job done.
I think the shifters wear out faster though.
