Thanks for the question. I still enjoy many of the veggie diet items, I just have to make sure I get enough variation and meat. Meat (protein) eaten before carbs helps block and slow the absorption of carbs and sugar into the bloodstream which is useful with diabetes.
That it does! I'm not diabetic, but I find that if I get a good protein hit before I flood with carbs before I work out that my endurance is much better and more even.
