Funny you should say that. I found out that I could get an extra couple miles an hour by starting my sprint over 100 rpm--I can spin decently well (low cadences really sap my strength, to the point I don't mind a triple or compact for climbing--if I drop below 70 I hurt). I'm just beginning to learn how to sprint--I was just giddy when I hit 37 mph starting at about 25 . If I don't start at over 95, I'll top out at 33-34 mph.
