The number that you enter is the circumference of the tire. The table that they provide has the theoretical circumferences for typical sizes. However, as I said, the actual size may vary (by quite a bit actually). You can use the circumference off their table, or you can measure it yourself (with a tape measure) and enter your measured circumference. Either way, it is entered into the same place in the computer.
