I have a set of Alta Race on my Lemond. They have 3K on them so far. One rear spoke blew out but I think a truck kicked up a rock while riding along the 5 freeway once. Wheel was seriously out of true for about 20 miles before I could find a shop that could work on it. Other than that they have been trouble free. Still straight as an arrow. Kind of like a Timex watch.
