Thanks for bringing this back to a bicycle theme. Before this thread spins wildly off its topic, I'll just mention that I may yet restore the Sub or my '64 VW Bus as a bicycle race support vehicle. The Bus had been a private airplane mechanic's van and has a slot cut in the luggage compartment where he ran a compressor off the motor while out in the field. Air for those tires anyone?
