I don't get the Ferrari analogy with any frame builder. If you are looking for a company with heavy R&D and racing experience that has re-defined sport, look at Shimano.
If you are looking at the highest tech sports cars available, look at McLaren or Pagani, Ferraris are over-hyped and definitely over-priced.
