Sorry, I am going to have to rail against the "who cares what it looks like" rhetoric here. Brooks B-17 is a fine saddle and looks perfect on a classic ride. But on a modern CF frame it just looks anachronistic...snow tires on a sports car indeed. There are plenty of comfortable saddles out there that will actually look like they belong on your Specialized. Just my opinion...no flames, please!
Hopefully the moving of a 1/4 inch does the trick. Like I said before, I really have a hard time breaking the Brooks and I hope I don't have to again. Maybe if I hurt bad enough, but I'm not their yet.
