I think looks do matter somewhat. Who wants to ride an ugly bike? Not me. I don't think a Brooks will automatically look right or wrong on any given bike. It depends on how everything works together visually. Functionally, a Brooks B17 might look out of place on a super lightweight high performance bike ridden for maximum speed, but that is not what George's Roubaix is.
