I used to have a ten mile (16km) commute, which was not too bad, but kind of tiring. 10km would be just fine by me. I'm really liking my new 4 mile commute. Reasonable amount of exercise, but also not much time and not too tiring on a lazy day, so less than 10km sounds great to me.
