Ummmm..... You need to narrow it down a bit I think. Any bike shops close to you? Go in & tell them what you want to do & how much you want to spend. Try out lots of different bikes & styles & see what you like.

I personally like drops for the "going fast" bikes. I have a road bike and I just bought a Giant Bowery (FG/SS) for commuting.

Things to look for in a "go fast" bike. No suspension, narrower/slick tires. Good luck!
