We've discussed this a bit recently. The 80's bikes in particular seem to be taking off - Colnagos going for several times previous value, etc. Probably some newbie money coming into the market without good points of reference for values, plus these bikes just getting "ripe" as collectibles, especially as earlier examples become scarce. But no fun when you see something you really want and realize you'll have to pay twice the prior going rate to obtain it.
