Check out the commuting forum. There is lots of good stuff there on what makes for a good commuting bike. I personally ride a recumbent and find it to be an excellent commuter. Wow! A Raieigh Super Course! I used to ride a Raleigh Grand Prix many years ago. No more road bikes for me.
