Here's what I got, using 54 x 42 chain rings:

So, you'd need 11x36 in the rear and 54x42 in the front to get that range of gear inches.
yeah. 30-130 is definitely wide gearing. and you're not going to find a cassette larger than 34T
how about the Rohloff 14 speed internal hub?
They've got over 500% gear range, totally weather proof and maintenance free.
You could use a single 54T in front with no derailleur at all and a 15T cog and you'd get:
142.6/125.6/110.3/97.2/85.6/75.2/66.3/58.3/51.3/45.1/39.8/35.0/30.7/27.1
Hot damn! That's gearing. You'd be using all of your gov't "economic stimulus" check on it though.
