It wasn't too horrible but the wind tends to pick up in open space. I have had rides that I have had to lean a good 30 degrees into the wind to stay upright. It is more along the lines that I should have listened to my body and stayed home or rode on the platte trail.
I have never had that short of a ride where when I was finished my hands were shaking. *sigh*
