Reason #69 why I hate Texas. The rest of the state is oh-so-much worse.
2 years and I'm outta here. Hopefully never to come back. Not to threadjack into a TX bashing contest (which is like picking low hanging fruit...so easy and tasty), but here's a joke that I've heard many iterations of, save for the fact that the TX part of it is always the same:
So three guys are walking along a beach, and they find a bottle. Out of this bottle comes a genie. The men all are very excited to have their three wishes granted.
The genie informs them that, unfortunately, they only get one wish each.
One man, from Minnesota, ponders a bit, and finally wishes that the winters in Minnesota would no longer be so bitter, and instead would be like balmy springs, or brisk autumns.
"Your wish is granted" says the genie.
The next man, from Texas, hardly needs to think at all. He says that he wishes there was a 100 foot tall wall around the entire state, to keep out all the foreigners and non-Texans from his great and majestic state.
"Your wish is granted" says the genie.
The final man, from Kansas, thinks on this for quite some time. Finally, with a look of satisfaction on his face, he says to the genie;
"I wish that wall was filled level to the top with water."
To the OP: Once you quit caring about whether you might be slowing a car down

, you'll feel a lot more comfortable. They can STFU and wait until such a time as it is SAFE to pass you.
