Been lurking the commuter pages ever since the greatest thread ever - Ass Slappin Roadies! and have been laughing ever since.

I've been fair weather commuting for 1 year. Sold my truck yesterday and am now a full time commuter junky. Free at last, Free at Last - Thank God I'm Free at last!

Anyway, I have a pristine Kestrel roadie (a hand-me-down from my dad, he bought a Schwinn that is easier on his old frame!) that I've got set up for sunny day commutes and a cheapo XMart mtb for rain/snow days. Being in this area of PA I actually have more miles on the mtb because of the crappy weather. No worries tho, as long as I'm on a bike I'm smiling...

At work, I'm the only person riding out of 90 employees, but have received alot of admiration from people that do see me (I keep a low profile). HR and Mgt have gone out of their way to make it easier for me to do so also, which is way cool.

So I'm looking fwd to continuing my adventure w/ you guys. c'ya on the commuter boards....
