I have had a Schwinn Paramount since the late 60's. It was bought from a man that wanted to loose weight and he weighed nearly 300 pounds!! It has direct drive and no pedal brakes with a Brooks saddle seat. 460 is stamped on the frame below the pedal axel chamber. I know the plant had a fire and destroyed this sequence of serial numbers, but I have always wondered approximately where 460 fell in relation to manfacture date. Can anyone help?
