Have any of you ever mounted a 'Tara' front rack on a bike whose forks do not have eyelets? I have a special mounting set made precisely for this situation, but it came without proper instructions (just a slip of paper with something written in German) or a diagram. I am, I admit, not mechanically minded in the least, and I have no idea how to use this kit.

I have written an e-mail to Tubus asking them for help, but the person who takes care of these matters is on holiday. So my fate is in your hands!
