I'm not aware of european car radios - I was American as Wonder bread. The first type was most common in desk radios, but also showed up in car radios. Remember, there were dozens of radio manufacturers.
Hey- remember when Wonder bread went from "building strong bodies six ways" on to "eight ways" and eventually to twelve ways?
