New commute (drive-train-bike):
Alarm at 3:30am
Out of bed at 3:50am
Out the door at 4:20am, drive to station
On the train at 4:43am
Off the train at 5:40am
Bike to work and clock in at 6:00am
I did the bike-train-bike last year and i could only motivate myself to do it twice a week at the most. With the drive-train-bike commute i find it much easier to do it 4-5 times a week. The extra 30 minutes of sleep really helps and i'm waking up alot closer to the time i'd normally have to wake up if i drive to work (~4:30am). It's 4.5 miles from home to the station, but sometimes i really really don't feel like pedaling that early...
