Paint is what you pay for. Pay $200 and be disappointed. Pay $600 and be thrilled and it's back to a quality (if not better than) the original from Schwinn. When it comes to a Paramount and fancy chrome Nervex lugs, and it needs to be repainted, it's worth saving up to do the job correctly.
The combination of new paints, and clear coats over the decals for protection, can really breath new life back into your 33 year old beauty. Possibly a couple of pics of my re-painted '66 can convince you. Best of luck and we're here to help.
That's the way the lug lining is supposed to look - really nicely done for a repaint. Even well-known restorers often get that wrong; I've seen some quite hideous examples.
