I'm wondering about what shoes to take on my cross country tour. Right now my cycling shoes are Pearl Izumi Vagabond mtb shoes. I really like them for cycling, but they're not the best for doing much walking around. I was originally planning on just taking a pair of crocs along to wear around the camp site, sight seeing, and anytime I'm off my bike. But as I think ahead neither pair of shoes will be that great for any extended hiking. I dont plan on doing anything too harcore but will probably do a little in some of the national parks that we hit. Any suggestions?
