Do you ever see anyone else riding on that trail when you are on it?

My commute in today was excellent! About 60 and partly cloudy, I didnt notice any wind.

I did have one close call with a driver at one point though. I was riding down Golden Gate Ave (Fairly steep hill) and right at about steiner st this driver decides that he wants to make a left from the far right lane, Im about 35ft behind him in the left lane so as he makes his (slow) turn - I have to skid and quickly look over my shoulder into the middle lane and cut into it before I collided with the bumber of the car making the turn. Needless to say - I made it out ok and brushed the incident off and made the most out of the remainder of the ride.
Wow, glad you didn't get hurt in that incident!

I rarely see more than a couple of people on that part of the trail, and they are almost always walkers. The first video I posted was actually once a regular road, but it runs through a Civil War battlefield/national park so years ago they blocked it off to auto traffic, which is great. Part of my commute is an MUP, then that road, then a narrow, high traffic road for about a quarter mile, then finally another quarter mile on a busy four lane road. The old abandoned road is by far the best part of the trip.
