Coffee! What's your favorite setup?

Coffee is my single biggest concern on tour.

If I don't get a decent cup of coffee in the morning, the whole day somehow never seems to go right. I often get fuzzy-headed and can't seem to take in the pleasure of touring. I can handle cold food, no food, or lousy food, but I must I have my coffee.

So, I've tried several methods: French press, stove top espresso maker, paper cone drip, instant, Vietnamese coffee press, and even the good old cowboy brew of simply pouring coffee ground into the pot and sipping and spitting out the ground.

I'm using a plastic drip brew with a gold screen. For me, it's the best so far, but the main drawback is that it uses an awful lot of coffee to brew just one strong cup--about twice what I'd normally use in a French press for 2 cups. So that's about 4x more.

Anyone out there with a good system for making camp coffee? Willing to share?

Cheers
