This is usually an indication the the tube was pinched somewhere on the rim. Before inflating go all the way around the wheel pushing the tire's bead away from the rim. The tube should be totally inside the tire, you should see no tube. Go around both sides of the wheel. Use the valve to push the tube into the tire so that none of the tube is caught between the tire bead and the rim.
Tube blowouts will also occur if the tube is damaged while installing. Treat the tube as if it is a fine piece of crystal.
