I used a set of Morphos lever for the 2003 PBP with a 7sp Shimano freewheel. At that time, they were listed as compatible for Campag 8, Shimano 8 and friction. The RH lever locked up not too long afterwards and rather than disassemble and repair it (they didn't fit my hands too well), they went to a friend. I'm not sure if he ever got them working again.
