I hope that you were at least a
little less polite than that in the event.
I guess I'm in the live-and-let-live camp (unless someone is a real menace). Even the wrong way sidewalk riders at least represent more people pedaling rather than pushing on the gas.
My druthers by priority would be:
1. More people riding in general
2. More people riding more uniformly and safely
3. More people riding uniformly and safely in a much more bike-friendly environment/infrastructure.
I think if we had 1 and 2, getting #3 might be easier.
