I keep my digicam on my right-most jersey pocket. When I want to take a pic or movie, I whip it out, put the strap on my wrist and snap away. I have a tiny Pentax Optio S4i (older camera) that is small and light. Since then I've gotten a bigger camera (Casio EX-V8) because it does better/bigger movies and has image stabilization but if you're in the daylight, the shutter speed and ISO is high enough that you generally don't need to worry about image stabilization. Plus there's waaaay too much movement on anything but glass smooth roads for optical image stabilization to actually do anything.
