Raise your lactate threshold. This is a very fun and enjoyable leisure time activity that often involves vomiting, hallucinations, the desire to die, as well as the inability to explain to others why you do such training. (Ride as hard as you can for one minute - and really...AS HARD AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN - then spin easy for a minute.
