at 5'11 you probably want a frame a bit bigger than 56, though it depends on the geometry of the particular bike and your own geometry.

If you're tenacious you can probably find something reasonable on craigslist where you can go and try it on and maybe negotiate a little for it. You're probably going to find a bike from someone who bought one and never rides and and finally decided to get rid of it.
