ummmmmmmmm...
yeah risers feel pretty good to me. funny to me how this has become such a heated topic though, cause you know, there just bicycle handlebars, and i try to keep my emotions out of things like that.
drop bars are great. and they look great too. i used to ride them and then switched to risers (yes, seeing them on a lot of other peoples nice bikes sparked my curiosity, go figure! i must be a hipster fashionite! oh crap!). turns out i felt way more power and control with them in urban riding, which as we all know is just a little bit different than circling around a velodrome.
but regardless, my 2 cents on this matter are that we should all ride the handlebars that we feel good riding, and that we should try to spend as little time as possible worrying about other peoples' handlebars on other peoples' bikes.
if anyone is having trouble finding other things to worry about, i can suggest a few that often work for me:
1. Love
2. Money
3. Art
4. oh yeah and Campy NJS
and again,
peace (and don't be a nerd)
