trombone, you mention there might have been some angry mood out there. Do you think this could be related to the situation with the driver who took out the 50 cyclists? I read some of the online comments in response to an article about it. Admittedly those comments always bring out the most extreme nutcases, but the ones I read were even more hateful than usual.
And now that the guy has "gone missing" I imagine moods are more enflamed--on both sides--than they were.
As reported by others here in NC, a chilly ride today by our standards. Yeah, I had to unpack the cold-weather gear I put away just last week. I'm hoping this will be the last time until probably November.
