•You can mount the extender on the end of the drop bars like the San Jos8.

• You can add a mini-handlebar (second stem and short section of handlebar) under your "real" handlebars.

• I believe someone is working on a drop bar compatable shifter but I don't think it is for sale yet. As BF member operator said, "If the $200 walmart bikes can have gripshifters next to the stem on road drops, you can too."
