Too much sometimes is just too much.
I had a really hard 8 days last week. Did a solo 200k quite fast on saturday and a 200k groupride on sunday. Did a fast 90k groupride on tuesday and intervals on thursday. On saturday I did a 300k brevet with a small group of slightly better riders. We had an onbike average a bit over 30k an hour and I unwisely pulled quite a lot. Next day my throat is sore and I am tired of biking. Good thing is I got to run slow with the wife on monday instead of cycling. Ran another slow workout today and hope to be fit for tomorrows intervals with my bike club.It is a bit sad that I never seem to learn that I have to alternate slow and fast, hard and easy.
