I am currently using Schimano M182 mtn. shoes and Crank Bros. Candy SL pedals. The set up works pretty well for me except the Candys have a little more float then I like and there is some creaking between shoe sole and the pedal platform. I like to be able get off the bike and walk. What would I gain by going to a road shoe?
